Kismet

Kismet is a 5-year old black lab mix diagnosed with a malignant tumor on her ear.

Her owner has had Kismet since she was 2 months old, rescuing her from a shelter and says she’s the greatest thing that’s happened to her life.  They were together all through the owner’s law school days, and they go everywhere together.   Her owner calls her  “My Partner in Crime” (nice coming from a lawyer!).

In the fall of 2014, Kismet needed emergency surgery to remove what was expected to be a benign tumor on her ear, but after study, it was determined to be malignant, and follow-up radiation treatments were recommended over a 3 to 4 week period.

Just days after starting her treatments, Kismet is reported to be her normal, playful self, eating well, active and very much happy to be home with her owner each night.  Please join us in sending warm healing wishes to Kismet for her recovery.
