Toby
Toby is an 8-year old Maltese/poodle mix diagnosed with a mast cell tumor on his hip.
Surgery was proposed to remove the growth with the potential for no follow-up treatments required. Toby’s family initially brought him home little over a year ago as a foster dog, but Toby immediately “adopted” the family’s oldest son and the two developed an emotional bond that has grown into an exceptional relationship. It was love at first sight!
The family has had some rough times, and felt bad about coming to the Pie Fund for assistance saying “we’re always on the other side of donating to charities.” But Toby needs the support, and we’re glad to be here for him.
